August 2016- Winner of The Craft and Design Magazine Award for her Black Headlight Mechanical Clock, Celebration of Craftsmanship and Design, Cheltenham.

Awarded a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust scholarship to be mentored by top silversmith Rod Kelly to realise new work.

Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths – On the 3rd of December 2014 Louise was honoured to be made a Freeman at Goldsmiths Hall in London. Being made free also makes a person eligible for the Freedom of The City of London.

2013
Winner of the Barbara Christie Award for Excellence in Metalwork and jewellery, Art in Action, Waterperry, Oxford. Selected by her peers in the trade for her ‘Desktop’ Clock.

2012
Selected as one of the World Gold Council’s ‘Great Designers’. Featured on The World Gold Council Website.

Charmian Adams Award – Shortlisted in ‘Crossings’ exhibition for ‘Crossing Time’ Clock-New Brewery Arts, Cirencester, Glos.

Goldsmiths’ Company Craftsmanship and Design Awards – Smallworkers – ‘Crossing Time’ Clock – Commended.

2009
Commissioned to design and make silver and gold jewellery for the Ladies European Golf Team at The Solheim Cup, USA as well as a presentation brooch for founder Louise Solheim.

Awarded Passport to Export Grant to showcase pieces at The British Jewellery, Giftware and Finishing Federation at JCK Show, Las Vegas. USA.

UK Tahitian Pearl Trophy Award-Brooch – 3rd Prize

Commissioned to make silver pieces in collaboration with textile designer Kay O’ Sullivan – as part of the Memory Palette Project for the Arts Council.
